Classic Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
 8 oz Creamette Elbow Macaroni
 3 tbsp Butter
 2 cups Milk/Half and Half
 Salt and pepper to taste
 3 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
 3 tbsp All-purpose flour
Cooking Directions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and lightly grease a square baking dish

Cook the macaroni to a slightly al-dente, drain, and set aside

Make the roux. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan, over medium heat. Blend in the flour, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes

Add milk and cheese. Stir in milk/half and half slowly, stirring constantly

Remove from heat. Add 1 cup of shredded cheese to the sauce and stir until melted

Add the cooked macaroni noodles and toss to coat in the sauce

Pour half of the pasta mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle 1/2 the cheese over the top. Pour the remaining pasta into the baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese

Bake at 325 for 20 minutes
